carworkshop.ae ("we", "us" or "our") is a car servicing network based in Dubai. We connect car owners who need servicing or repairs with independent garages that can do the work. Our service is free for car owners: we do not charge or collect any money from customers who use our website.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use carworkshop.ae, how we use it, and when we share it with partner garages. We handle personal data in line with UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and other applicable UAE laws.
Information you give us when you submit a request on our website, or contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email:
Your name, phone number and email address.
Your car's make and model.
The service or repair you are looking for, and any other details you choose to share.
Information collected automatically when you visit our website:
IP address, browser and device type, pages visited, time on site and referring website.
Approximate location based on your IP address.

We do not collect payment card details, as we do not charge customers.
We receive your request with your contact details, car details and the service you need.
We find a suitable garage. We contact garages in our network that can handle your car and service. At this stage we share only your car and service details, not your name or contact details.
We share your details with the garage that agrees. Once a garage agrees to take the job, we send it your name, phone number, email, car details and service request.
The garage contacts you directly to discuss the work, price and timing.
We also use your information to:
Contact you about your request and follow up on your experience.
Answer your questions and complaints.
Improve our website and service.
Send offers or updates, only if you have agreed to receive them.
Prevent fraud and comply with UAE law.
By submitting a request on our website, you consent to us using your details as described in Section 3, including sharing them with a partner garage that agrees to take your job. We also rely on:

Partner garages. Car and service details go to garages we ask about availability. Your name, phone number and email go only to the garage that agrees to take your job.
Service providers that help us run our website and communicate with you, such as hosting, email, WhatsApp Business and analytics providers.
Government authorities, police or courts, when required by UAE law.
A buyer or successor, if our business is sold or restructured.
Partner garages are independent businesses. Once a garage receives your details, it is responsible for how it uses and protects them under its own privacy practices. Any agreement on work, price, payment or warranty is between you and the garage; carworkshop.ae is not a party to it.
Some service providers may store data outside the UAE. When this happens, we take reasonable steps so your data receives protection consistent with UAE data protection law.

To stop marketing messages, reply STOP or use the unsubscribe link in any message.
Our website and services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we will delete it.
Our website may link to other sites, such as Google Maps, WhatsApp or social media. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please review their policies.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its effective date. Significant changes will be highlighted on our website.
